Forum Post: RE: OPPID, Open Schema, As for pid.01.07.ecschema.xml

Hello SH, First things first - when adding a post, please include the version number of the product you are working with. This is most helpful. The first time you load the Bentley Class Editor, you need to migrate to the menu and select Tools > Options... Here, select the Add button and browse to the OpenPlant PID install directory located at the following location - ...Program Files (x86)\Bentley\OpenPlantPID (SS6)\OpenPlantPID\schemas . This folder references several base PID schemas needed by the project level OpenPlant_PID schema. This is where the pid and schematics schemas are located. After adding this path, select the Add button again and browse to the workspace directory - ...\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlantPID (SS6)\WorkSpace\OPPID\schemas . This is the path to the workspace level reference schemas needed by the base PID schema. Once you have added these two paths to the Class Editor Options, you will no longer be prompted to browse for reference schemas. I hope this helps, Tony DeRosa Bentley Plant
