Background In OpenPlant Modeler, if user wants to add some new insulation material in the list then user needs to modify “OpenPlant_3D.01.07.ecschema.xml” schema. Steps to Accomplish Launch Bentley Class Editor. Open “OpenPlant_3D.01.07.ecschema.xml” schema say for “OPModeler_Imperial” from workspace project schema folder. “C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlantModeler V8i\WorkSpace\Projects\ Project Name \DataSet\Schemas” Once schema is loaded, select “Find Class” in Class Editor. Search for “INSULATION_MATERIAL_VALUE_MAP”. Select the “INSULATION_MATERIAL_VALUE_MAP” class name and press “Go to “ Go to “Properties” tab. Press “Add…” –-> New to add new property. Define the Name of new Insulation. Save the changes. Close Class Editor. Now launch OpenPlant Modeler in same units in which changes were made (OPModeler_Imperial in this case).
