Forum Post: RE: OPPID, Valve Type not populated

Thanks for the solution but to be honest, I was expecting that this would be part of the settings. From what i'm seeing, OPPID is not set to work with DataManager. And again I need to go thru some sofisticated configuration to get what is supposed to already be part of the application. DataManager's Views will need to be modified since the valve type filter is based on their valve type values (check, gate, etc.). BTW I'm using DataManager since 2000 (Rebis old time) and it's still the same GUI and still need to be exclusive to do modification. The more I'm using OPPID the more I see the uge effort to get a full integrated solution. It is not only the time, knowledge and effort to spend using the Bentley's schema concept but more about the upgrade to the next version. All the work that have been done need to be replicated in the next release if it is not added in the new release and if the schema structure didn't changed like it happened between SS7 and SS8. Did you add the description for bolts and gaskets in the BOM??? I did it with OPIM because IsoGen wasn't available anymore but now with OPPID and I guess the same situation will come with OpenPLANT Modeler.
