The toolbar above this navigation tree provides options to create, edit, and delete instrument templates, as well as to view all of the loops associated with a specific instrument template.T he Instrumentation & Wiring package has two main types of templates: 1. Autogenerated Templates - Templates that are based upon pre-selected symbols held in ..\Standards\Instrumentation\Symbols. These are built on the fly from code behind the scene building the drawing based off how the loop is built and which symbols have been assigned as outlined below: Example: Loopcon.dwg Template. 2. Tokenized Templates. - The tokens actually reside in the template itself. The data is then passed thru the System Query that controls the type of template it is onto the created drawing. An example of this would be the XAIAO.DGN template as shown below: If you notice this drawing is hard-coded as opposed to the auto-generated which are built depending on the layout of the loop itself.
