Applies To Product(s): OpenPlant Isometrics Manager Version(s): 08.11.09.XXX (SS5) | 08.11.11.XX (SS6) Environment: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64 bit) Area: Settings/Attributes Subarea: Isometrics Generation Original Author: Abhijit Bute, Bentley Product Advantage Group Overview In OpenPlant Isometrics Manager, during isometrics generation it displays error as Element ‘VALVE_HAS_VALVE_OPERATING _DEVICE’ is missing required attribute ‘sourceClass’ Problem Description Problem arise when user place instrument and valve operator on it. Instrument not accepted as source for the ‘ VALVE_HAS_VALVE_OPERATING _DEVICE’ relationship. Below steps will aid user to avoid such errors. Below example and error caused shown here using AutoPLANT Modeler and OpenPlant Isometrics Manager. Steps to Resolve Open Bentley Class Editor. Open " OpenPlant_3D.01.04 schema ". See Image below. Note - Path to check - (C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i\Bentley Plant V8i Projects\SAMPLE_METRIC\Config\OpenPlant\schemas) Right click on " OpenPlant_3D.01.04 schema " &S click on supplement Schema option. Using "Add" button, select Supplemental schema " OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Isometrics_Isoextractor.01.04 schema " and click on "Open". See image below. Navigate ‘VALVE_HAS_VALVE_OPERATING _DEVICE’ relationship. Right click on ‘ Valve ’ and remove source class ‘ Valve ’. Add new class ' DEVICE '. Save the schema and Open AutoPLANT Modeler and generate isometric. Still a Problem?
