Below steps will aid user to achieve the desired settings. Background OpenPlant component symbology is managed in the typical Microstation fashion. It is controlled through a combination of Named Expressions (used to read attributes and assign the Element Templates accordingly) and Element Templates (where symbology is defined for the elements identified by the Named Expression). Steps to Accomplish All of component symbology settings are usually set in OPmodeler.dgnlib file, located in WorkSpace\Projects\%project_name%\DataSet\Dgnlibs folder. Navigate to mentioned path to open the file. In menu select Element -> Element Templates; Browse to OpenPlant -> Piping section, see what templates are already available. If required create new services: Set symbology as per requirement. See below has been set for few existing Services. For Model: For Centerline: For Insulation: In menu open Utilities -> Named Expressions. Here for Pipelines, it is required update 3 expressions: OP_SYMBOLOGY_PIPING: "BY_LEVEL_AND_TEMPLATE:" & PIPELINE.NAME & ":OpenPlant\Piping\" & PIPELINE.SERVICE_NAME & ":Model" OP_SYMBOLOGY_PIPING_CENTERLINE: "BY_LEVEL_AND_TEMPLATE:" & PIPELINE.NAME & “_CL” & ":OpenPlant\Piping\" & PIPELINE.SERVICE_NAME & ":Centerline" OP_SYMBOLOGY_PIPING_INSULATION: "BY_LEVEL_AND_TEMPLATE:" & PIPELINE.NAME & “_Ins” & ":OpenPlant\Piping\" & PIPELINE.SERVICE_NAME & ":Insulation" Save Expression and close the dialog box. Save and close the DGNLIB file. Launch OPM and verify results with working DGN file. See Also Comments or Corrections?
