Applies To Product(s): OpenPlant PID Version(s): 08.11.10.XXX Environment: Windows 7 (64 bit) Area: Training Subarea: Original Author: Harpreet Singh, Bentley Product Advantage Group Background When there are lot of components in the drawing user may need to move the components to another drawing or want to copy the components to another drawing. There are some specific commands designed for this workflow which should be used. Steps to Accomplish Select the components to copied/moved from one drawing to another. Right click and select 'Select Parent(s) Advanced' option from context menu. Click 'Check All' button to select all the parents and click Select . Right click and select 'Copy to Clipboard' from context menu. Open the drawing where components have to be pasted. Right click and select 'Paste from Component Clipboard'. Modify the tags if you wish to change them or Browse from DB in case of same tags. Comments or Corrections?
