APPID Conversion and Placement of Flow Arrows Description In APPID there are many types of flow arrows that can be placed on a Pipe Run. OPPID allows two flow arrows: Directional and Bi-directional . These classes are defined on "PIPING_NETWORK_SEGMENT" class under the FLOW_ARROW_MAPPING custom attribute: oppid: PIPE_FLOW_ARROW_NOBREAK oppid:PIPE_FLOW_ARROW_BIDIR These classes have a cell defined in the supplemental that can be placed on a pipe run: Piping\Misc_Piping FlowArrowClose Piping.cel 0.5 Placement Only these two classes can be used to place a symbol on a pipe run. If an arrow is selected from the task navigation menu and placed on a run and that arrow’s class name is not defined in the FLOW_ARROW_MAPPING custom attribute, the following error will be displayed: LOG_ERROR - Bentley.Plant.ApplicationFramework.Schematics - Cannot place PIPE_FLOW_ARROW2_OPEN flow arrow in run, which requires PIPE_FLOW_ARROW_NOBREAK flow arrow.
