Hello Paul, The Bentley offering for PIDs is OpenPlant PID. This will work with AutoPLANT as well as OpenPlant. AutoPLANT PID is now superseded by OpenPlant PID. The 2D to 3D functionality that was in AutoPLANT PID is now in OpenPlant PID and OpenPlant PID writes to the same database as the AutoPLANT applications. OpenPlant is a standalone application in that it is its own engine thus it does not require a separate install of MicroStation or any other CAD engine. I hope this helps.
