See image below. Reason Issue caused due to system windows security update “ KB3139940 ”. Hence it can be system specific wherever updates has been done. Steps to Resolve For SS3/SS4 User Request IT admin to provide the required permission to access the folders to modify & replace DLL file as per link attach here DLLS._SS3_SS4.zip . Navigate to below path mentioned here. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Bentley Shared\Plant V8i Rename “ APSelectionDialogAN18.dll ” file present in folder. Paste the attached “APSelectionDialogAN18.dll” file in same location. Attached files can be differentiate easily based on name. Alternatively User may uninstall the security update and restart AutoPLANT to work. If required, do cleanup temporary files and verify the results. For SS5/SS6 User Request IT admin to provide the permission to down load the patch as mentioned For AutoPLANT Modeler SS5 user, Download the Patch from link APSS5Patch_08.11.10.206.zip. For AutoPLANT Modeler SS6 user, Download the Patch from link APSS6Patch_08.11.11.144.zip. Unzip desired patch after downloading from link provided above. Install the setup.exe & verify results.
