Steps to Accomplish Create in YOUR_PROJECT\Config\modules the folder CABLET\PIPING\SYMBOLS as per below screenshot. In this folder store your custom symbols. (DWG) Open the spec Mlights in ACCESS and add in field SYMBOL_3D the required dwg symbol name. Refer below cases. CASE 1: When the block name and drawing file name are the same then in SYMBOL_3D name should be block name For example the drawing file CL2.dwg contains the block name CL2 then entry in the column should be CL2 (Refer the below screenshot) CASE 2: When the block name and drawing file name are different then both names should be entered in the column. For example the drawing file CL2.dwg contains the block name TEST1 then the entry in the column should be CL2;TEST1 (Refer the below screenshot) Copy from C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\Plant V8i\Modules\Cable the class.ini to Your Project\Config\modules\CABLET Add the following line to all lightning components: 3D_SYMBOL_NAME_FIELD = SYMBOL_3D Save and close Class.ini file Open the class editor in the AutoPLANT menu. Browse to the classes as shown below Select one and double click on it. Add the following line as shown below Repeat the steps for all Lightning classes. Save and close.
