Background Some user may need to change the names of the Supports as per specific requirement. Below illustrated steps helps user to change/edit the support name. Steps to Accomplish Open the support.ini file as shown in the below mentioned screenshot as mentioned in the given path. Note: If customization to be carried in the particular project then all the below given steps to be carried in the project location as mention below. For Example - C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i\Bentley Plant V8i Projects\SAMPLE_IMPERIAL\Config\modules. (the below given path is for full Application Level customization) C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\Plant V8i\Modules\Base Check the .ini file mentioned for User custom Support. Here we have Test.ini mentioned for User custom Support, check the below mentioned screenshot. As the mentioned Test.ini file is in Base folder all the custom support details are mentioned in Test.ini and name of support can be changed from the Test.ini file itself located at the below mentioned path. Open the Test.ini file and the name of the supports can be changed by editing the description given in the file. Edit and change the description so as to change the name of the given support. Note: While making any change in the .ini file make sure all the AutoPLANT Application must be closed. Once the changes done in the file save and close the file and open the AutoPLANT Model. Place the support as per the given steps and check if the changes reflected in the AutoPLANT Modeler.
