Hello Lance, I can guess, that your engineering company provided only those project folders with models and config files? Or those folders were archived somehow and you just extracted them? If they were using Project Packager, then they have created a package, which should be unpackaged using same tool. More info how to use this tool in this wiki: https://communities.bentley.com/products/plant/w/plant_design_and_engineering__wiki/22665/how-do-i-package-a-project-to-send-to-a-client-or-technical-support If those folders were just archived and shared, then there is no possibility how to import this project. In such scenario required files, like those which are always created after selecting new root folder, are missing. If on XM edition there is no such Project Packager tool, then they can archive whole projects folder and remove not required projects. You could select unarchived folder as new root, Project administrator could recognize the project and then you could do all other configurations and steps required to upgrade XM project to V8i. Upgrading procedure in this wiki: https://communities.bentley.com/products/plant/w/plant_design_and_engineering__wiki/2473/how-do-i-upgrade-projects-from-autoplant-xm-to-v8i-tn Update us here about how project was shared with you. Thank you in advance. Regards, Kestutis Mitkus
