Is anyone else having to use 3rd party software to get their Isometric drawings created at a professional level? Does anyone have other options We are having so many issues our engineers made us buy Intergraph Isogen. We are spending more on Intergraph then our maintenance on AutoPLANT modeler for a function that should work correctly. Many issues from OPIM license usage due to not starting the program CORRECTLY to inability of program to split isometrics automatically. having to learn MicroStation to create modify the program. Unable to dimension the lines as before without gasket dimensions. Arrow heads not shading. Dimensions and text not editing properly due to using MicroStation fonts. Fonts would need to be sent to anyone needing to edit the files in AutoCAD (unacceptable). Symbols not orientated properly leaving welds undetectable. Wide polylines on border not shading. Wrong scale in output drawings. Bentley has claimed to solve some issues but the fixes not comparable to the old ISOGEN. Example draw a bunch of triangle for the arrow head so it plots solid.
