Applies To Product(s): OpenPlant Modeler Version(s): 08.11.09.564 & above Environment: Windows 7 (64 bit) Area: Component Subarea: Custom Component - Connectivity Checker Original Author: Rahul Kumar, Bentley Product Advantage Group Overview To fix the Error “ Invalid Joint exist between the Component ” for custom component in OpenPlant Modeler Problem Description While Creating a custom component with Flanged ends, OpenPlant Modeler produces an error while running connectivity checker. See image below. Below are the suggestion to resolve the matter. Reason First thing user need to check correct graphical creation & whether the flanges are connected correctly. Secondly in Custom Component Builder dialog, if Rating does not mention & user proceed to create a custom component, then it will returns to error, while running connectivity checker. See image below. Error While running connectivity checker: After Adding Rating Value, say CL300. See image below. User carefully need to check Rating for corresponding components including Flanges/Gasket/Bolts etc. See Also Still a Problem?
