In this Example, we tried to place Bal Valve, but got a warning massage: " No spec data found for Bal Valve " Problem Description There is possibility to use AutoPLANT Specifications in OpenPlant P&ID projects, but OpenPlant PID schemas are not mapped with all possible AutoPLANT components. In below steps you will find information how to map required AutoPLANT classes for use in OpenPlant PID. Steps to Resolve Open required Specification and check component's CLASS_NAME value. In Specification, Ball Valve which we were trying to place is defined with Class Name "AT_PLA_BALL" Open Bentley Class Editor, load OpenPlant_3D.01.06.ecschema and supplement it with OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Mapping_AutoPLANT.01.06.ecschema. Select Ball Valve class and check Class Mapping in "AutoPLANT_PDW_Catalogue_Class_Map" As you can see there is no "ATP_PLA_BALL" class mapping Add new Class Mapping with required data from specification. Start OpenPlant PID and verify the results. Still a Problem? If above problem still persist, then please create a Service Request and contact the Bentley Product Advantage group.
