Applies To Bentley ProjectWise Integration Product(s): Project Administrator Version(s): 08.11.09.140 and greater Environment: N/A Area: ProjectWise Subarea: Integration Original Author: Brandon Moberg Bentley Technical Support Group ERROR: Cannot find file Pwintutilsv8i.dll Description: The error "Cannot find file Pwintutilsv8i.dll" is received during ProjectWise Integration with an AutoPLANT Project in Project Administrator and or any other AutoPLANT Application that has been previously synced. Cause: The issue is due to the fact that the Pwintutilsv8i.dll file cannot be found to be read into memory and or registered. Solution: 1. Browse to the C:\PROGRAM FILES(X86)\BENTLEY\PROJECTWISE\BIN\ folder and search for the PWINTUTILSV8I.DLL file. If the file is not in this folder a repair or reinstall is required. 2. Add the C:\PROGRAM FILES(x86)\BENTLEY\PROJECTWISE\BIN\ folder pathing to the System Variable PATH section. A. Right Click on My Computer > Properties > Advanced System Settings > Advanced tab. B. Select the PATH variable in the System Variables section. C. Select the Edit button and add the C:\PROGRAM FILES(x86)\BENTLEY\PROJECTWISE\BIN path into the beginning of the PATH variable value line.
