Many users then update this data with other applications such as DataManager, I&W or Datasheets. What happens though if a corruption happens with the data itself in the database. How does the administration of the project report that the data is correct or repair it when something has happened? This is where the DB Audit Tool comes into place and helps report and resolve such issues. Installed with the OpenPLANT PID application is a tool named DBAUDITTOOL.EXE. This file is located in the following file folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\OpenPlantPID (SS5)\OpenPlantPID Shown below the Database Audit Tool: 1. Select Login to connect to the OpenPLANT Project's PCF file. 2. Once loaded select the options in "Select Errors" section to define the audit range. 3. Select the Audit button to begin the audit. Please note you can see which classes are mapped and defined in the Mapped Classes dropdown list. 4. Notice below that a report is generated to show the user the data anomalies in the project: 5. Select Save and a report is generated so the project administration teams can review and resolve the issues.
