Since 'Parser Expression' is defined in schema on NAME (Tag Number) property therefore it is not possible to make this property read only. But you can work around this by adding a dummy tag number field. Steps to Resolve Open Class Editor and load OpenPlant_PID schema. Supplement it with OpenPlant_PID_Supplemental_Imperial schema. Go to PIPING_NETWORK_SYSTEM class. Switch to properties tab and select NAME property. Add new custom attribute 'Hide Property' as shown below. Set both fields to TRUE as shown below. Now create new property named 'PIPELINE_NAME'. Add new custom attribute 'Calculated ECProperty Specification' and apply below settings. Add another custom attribute 'Category' and apply below highlighted settings. Save the changes in schema and verify the results. Pipeline tag will now become 'Read Only' in Element Info dialog.
