Problem Description In OpenPlant Isometrics Manager, it has been observed during isometric generation, that few components get overlapped with each other or during generation it does not give a clear view. Apart from fixes and enhancements, there are several ways to fix those issues and can be applied in running project. In below discussion, some of the cases has been illustrated. See below image for where a custom component gets overlapped with an elbow when an Isometric break point got placed between elbow & component. In OpenPlant Modeler In OpenPlant Isometrics Manager Steps to Resolve Launch OpenPlant Isometric Manager. Select project unit. Open “Isometric Configuration” dialog. Go to Isometric Management tab and select “Isometric Continuity Options”. In Last continuing components field, click on “…” 3 dot present at corner and select the option as “ISOMETRIC_BREAK_POINT”. See image below. Note – This will allow stop showing the continuity option at isometric break point. Set Max Iso continuing components option to 0 like shown in below setting modified. Note – Here user can set desirable numbers to avoid overlaps and try various combinations to avoid such problem. Save dialog box. Generate Isometrics & verify results. See image below.
