Applies To Product(s): OpenPlant Orthographics Manager Version(s): 08.11.11.87 (SS6) Environment: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64 bit) Area: Drawing Generation Subarea: Nozzle Tagging Original Author: Faisal Khan, Bentley Product Advantage Group To show nozzle number as tag in OpenPlant Orthographics Manager output drawing Background In OpenPlant Orthographics Manager, Nozzle NAME is shown by default as nozzle tagging in output drawing. If Nozzle name is not set in DGN or imodel then nozzle tag will not be shown in output drawing. In most cases like in AutoPLANT nozzles, Nozzle Number set in DWG so in imodel. So if user wants to see Nozzle Number in OpenPlant Orthographics Manager output drawing then he needs to change Nozzle TagNumber value to Number in AnalyzeConfig.xml Steps to Accomplish Launch OpenPlant Orthographics Manager and select a project say Sample Metric Go to Drawing Generation -- Generate Select a VAD file having Nozzles with Number set in DGN/imodel Press “Generate Drawings” to generate output file. It will show output file with nozzle tagged as “Nozzle” Now go to OpenPlant Orthographics Manager installed directory and open “AnalyzeConfig.xml” file in Notepad to edit i.e. if OpenPlant Orthographics Manager installed in Program Files (x86) “ C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\OrthographicsManager V8i\OrthographicsManager\bin” Find “NOZZLE ECClassName” Change TagNumber value from “NAME” to “NUMBER” Save and close xml file Re-launch OpenPlant Orthographics Manager after the changings Go to Project Settings -- Annotations -- Equipment and Nozzles and make sure “Add prefix” and “Truncate equipment name” boxes are empty for Nozzle settings Go to Drawing Generation -- Generate Select a same VAD file having Nozzles with Number set in DGN/imodel Press “Generate Drawings” to generate output file Now it will show Number as no Nozzle tag in output See Also Still a Problem?
