Hello Changsong, There are many aspects which you could check here. Selection of Bolts from spec can be made on whole assembly calculation value which includes Flanges, gasket, nuts etc. Based on that if the total assembly length value it query the records in spec and picks the suitable length greater than the calculated value, provided all other fields entries are same. See below wiki for details. What we recommend, that you should compare each fields with default spec and see what are the changes it has. Also in schema, STUD_BOLT & MACHINE_BOLT is defined under BOLT class. You can also check what values have been defined in spec & how it is getting calculated with different class value. In order to check what class has been defined you should see JOINT Class with respective end preparations under fastener field. See below. Under JOINT class, check Wafer joint end preparation. STUD_BOLT has been defined here for wafer type entries. To enter MACHINE_BOLT as well, you need to define it under Fastener field. you may take reference from FLANGED type entries. I hope it explains your doubt. You may also upload your spec to check it at our end and provide you solution on where it require attention. Link to upload files - Also I would like to suggest that you should check the same in latest version of OpenPlant Modeler SS6 08.11.11.87, which got many fixes for Bolts as well. -Regards | Rahul Kumar
