Applies To Product(s): OpenPlant Project Administrator Version(s): 08.11.09.XXX (SS5) | 08.11.11.XXX (SS6) Environment: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64 bit) Area: Workspace Subarea: Original Author: Harpreet Singh, Bentley Product Advantage Group Problem Description When user creates a local workspace in Project Administrator and want to make it active workspace, he can't do it because 'Set As Active' button in workspace tab remains inactive when custom workspace is selected. See below picture: Reason Main reason behind this problem is that user don't have enough privileges to C:\Program Files (x86) folder because this function modifies the msdir.cfg file which resides in C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\OpenPlantModeler V8i\OpenPlantModeler\config folder. Steps to Resolve Request your IT admin to provide the required permissions on above mentioned folders. Check the UAC (User Account Control) settings in your machine. If the setting is higher then change it to minimum as shown above. You will need to restart the machine after this step otherwise changes will not reflect. Right click on the OpenPlant Project Administrator icon and select 'Run as Administrator' option from context menu. Re-launch OpenPlant Project Administrator and verify the result. Still a Problem? If above problem still persist, then please create a Service Request and contact the Bentley Product Advantage group. Please include a list of all relevant details to get in depth analysis for a solution or workaround. Comments or Corrections?
