In OpenPlant Modeler, sometimes it could be the modeler's choice or as per project specific requirement it has been envisioned to put the folder containing the Specs and the folder containing Catalogs, out of the WorkSpace folder, at some other location. Below are the steps to achieve the same configuration within Open Plant Modeler. Steps to Accomplish Navigate to working Project Folder. Say OPModeler_Metric See image below for reference Browse to DataSet. See image below for reference Copy the Specs Databases folder and paste it to a different location; say C:\Users\%user_name%\Desktop\Test Copy the Catalogs Databases folder and paste it to the different location; say C:\Users\%user_name%\Desktop\Test Browse to the working Projects folder. See image below for reference Open the Project's PCF file in Notepad; here say OPModeler_Metric.pcf Search for OPM_DIR_SPECS . See image below for reference Change the value of OPM_DIR_SPECS to the path of the new Spec folder; here say C:\Users\Kunal.Kiran\Desktop\Test\Specs Databases. (here %user_name% is Kunal.Kiran) See image below for reference Save the file and exit Browse to the new Spec location and open a Spec Go to the Table SpecCatalogs . See image below for reference Change the records for CatalogFilePath fields to point to the new location of the catalogs. See image below for reference Save the file Launch OpenPlant Modeler and verify results. See Also Comments or Corrections?
