Sometimes, when user generates a Data Manager Report there requirement is to have some information of Equipment & Pipe Run should also comes in Process Instrument List. In this article we will see how we can add those properties in different group lets say Process Instrument List. Steps to Accomplish Launch Data Manager. Navigate to View > Process Instrument List. Hit 'Design'. Click on 'Design with Access'. Right Click on Grey Blank Screen > Show Table. In Show Table add 'EQUIP' & 'PIPE_RUN' Tables. Delete the Link Connectivity with KEY_LINK to PIPE_RUN & KEY_LINK to EQUIP. Link TAG_REG to PIPE_RUN & PIPE_RUN to EQUIP, see below image. Follow the steps as shown below in image. Follow the same steps for linking PIPE_RUN to EQUIP. On below table, Add Table Properties & Field Properties from Drop Down list, see below image. Save all Settings & Close the dialog. Hit 'OK'. Verify the Process Instrument view table. Expand Reports > Process Instrument List > Edit. Hit 'Design'. If Property sheet dialog is not present then, Right Click on Grey Blank Screen > Properties. In Sub Header of 'Process Instrument List' Report select any property which is not require for report, lets say 'ASSOCIATED EQUIP' and from Control Source drop down list select Property which is require to Add here, PAREA (see below image). From Main Header Edit the respective property box, see below image. Same steps follow for Equip Service. Save all Settings & Close the dialog. Generate a Report.
