Well, with a hint from you, I did a test. In the default Metric project, the definition of the property SERVICE of GASKET is quite simple, with no ECExpressions. And the property could be revised easily and efficiently. If I remove PIPING_COMPONENT from the baseclasses list of GASKET，two more questions come out, Q3: In the workspace of default Metric project, how does GASKET get service information without any inheritance/ expression; Q4: For the previous intention, to get a crystal report of all piping components including GASKET，how to do it when GASKET is not belong to the same baseclass?
