This error appears when user click the pull down button on Data Source field in below dialog. Below error appears after clicking the drop down menu button. As highlighted in above picture, it automatically tries to connect to SQLEXPRESS and fails, once this portion "\SQLEXPRESS" is removed from the datasource, different error appears as shown below. Reason Possible reason for this error is that if you are using Windows NT "Integrated Security" to login into SQL which is causing the issue. Possible Solution While mapping the database with Plant Project change Integrated Security to "True" as shown below.
